Questions
For parents and teachers. Questions about one puzzle are on that puzzle's page.
Getting started
- Which level is right for my child?
- Start with the level for their age: Level 1 for ages 4–6, Level 2 for 6–8, Level 3 for 8–10 and Level 4 for 10–12.
- If the first sheet feels easy, move up a level. If it is a struggle, step down one. When unsure, start one level lower: it is easier to move up than to come back down.

- Does my child need to read?
- Not at Level 1. Read the instruction aloud once; after that the puzzles are pictures, and your child points, circles or checks.
- From Level 2 some puzzles have short written clues. Read them together at first, and let your child make every mark.
- What is the Learn sheet?
- Every free set starts with a Learn sheet: one worked example, step by step, and a question to ask your child. Do it together before the puzzles. If your child gets stuck later, go back to it.
- Are the answers included?
- Yes. The answers are at the back of every set, so you can check together at the end.
- Some puzzles can be solved more than one way. The answers show one way; any answer that follows the rules is right.
- I have children of different ages. What should I do?
- Print a different level for each child. Every puzzle page has a free set for each of its levels, and the weekly email has all four levels in one.
Printing
- Letter or A4?
- Every set comes in both. The site picks one for your country; the "Showing" menu at the top changes it, and each download also has an "Other paper size" link.
- Do I need a color printer?
- No. The sheets are black and white and use little ink.
- Anything to watch when printing?
- Print at 100% ("Actual size") where size matters, such as the Tangram pieces and puzzles, so the pieces fit the outlines. Turn off any "Fit" or "Shrink" option.
- Can I print free sheets for my class or share them?
- Yes. Print as many free sheets as you like, for any child or class, and share them freely: by link, by email, or in a class space such as Google Classroom. Please don't sell them or post the files on other websites; link to our page instead.

The free weekly email
- What is in the weekly email?
- Every Sunday: 20 new puzzles, 5 for each level, in one email. Use the levels for whichever children you like. Members get 80 puzzles (20 per level) instead.
- See a sample email
- Do you ask about my child?
- No. Sign-up is for grown-ups, and all we ask for is your email address. There is no age question and no child data.
- How do I stop the emails?
- Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and they stop.
Membership
- What do members get?
- More worksheets for every puzzle on the site, 80 new puzzles every Sunday (20 per level), and the archive of past weeks.
- Membership
- How much is it?
- $39 a year or $25 for 6 months, for all four levels. Teachers paying for themselves pay the same.
- Prices are lower in many countries: the checkout adjusts the price for your country automatically.
- What if the price is a problem?
- Write to us. We offer reduced or free access to families and teachers who need it, for a year at a time, and free school-plan access to registered charities working with children.
- Reduced or free access
- Can I get a refund or cancel?
- Yes. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. Before a membership renews we send a reminder, and you can ask for a refund within 14 days after a renewal. You can cancel any time; your access lasts until the end of the time you paid for.
- Can members share their sheets?
- Members may print as many copies as they like for their own children or for the students they teach themselves, and show sheets on a classroom screen or in a closed class space. Please don't pass the files to other families or teachers, post them online, upload them to AI tools or sell them.

Teachers and schools
- Can I use the puzzles with my whole class?
- Yes. Free sheets may be printed for any class. Members may print copies for every child they teach.
- A way that works: show the Learn sheet on the board, then hand out the puzzles, keeping the harder ones at the end of the set for early finishers. Answers are included, so students can check their own work.
- Which grade is each level?
- Level 1: Pre-K–K (Reception–Year 1; LKG–UKG). Level 2: Grades 1–2 (Years 2–3; Class 1–2). Level 3: Grades 3–4 (Years 4–5; Class 3–4). Level 4: Grades 5–6 (Years 6–7; Class 5–6).
- Do the puzzles link to the curriculum?
- Each puzzle page has a "For teachers" section with the curriculum areas the puzzle practices, and a box with the math practices it uses. Where nothing fits, it says "No direct curricular match." We describe areas, not exact matches.
- Is there a plan for schools?
- Yes: a school plan at $100 a year, with the receipt in the school's name, and a co-branded plan at $500 a year with the school's name or logo on the sheets. Tax, where it applies, is added at checkout. Write to us to set one up.
